I decided to study Psychology because helping others in times of emotional need is rewarding and satisfying, and I believe that being listened to and share is very regenerative. While I have a genuine interest in people and their feelings, it is important to have a scientific, theoretical, and methodological foundation to support others.
I offer Psychotherapy and guidance (Counselling), emotional support, mental health, and personal/professional growth. My primary approach is Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT). This is a clinical psychology approach that focuses on the relationship between thoughts, feelings and behaviors and how these can be modified to improve a person’s mental and emotional well-being.
I believe in collaborative and genuine relationships between the client and the therapist that promote trust, a relaxed environment, and a sense of being understood, heard and supported, all of which leads to beneficial change. I enjoy making a positive contribution to the lives of others, which has motivated me to pursue psychology as a profession.
